Magic happens on this mat. When I step on it as my day winds down, headaches and heartaches start melting just a little bit, even if only temporarily – and it’s all temporary. One of my happiest accomplishments this year, is to have slowly carved an almost daily yoga practice. Moving deliberately on this mat helps me process the events of the day and turn down the level of emergency of the infinite items on my to do list. I am thrilled to find my muscles becoming the tiniest bit stronger. I am granted more breathing space with every pose held a little longer. I am brought back to the present moment with every wobble and quiver. That is something to truly be grateful for.
