Lulled and engulfed by the everyday routines of busy professional and social lives, it is sometimes difficult to remember that we are free. It certainly has become more difficult to see the world outside of our media echo chambers. Yet a little effort to remember to open a window to fresh input is invaluably enriching. Whether exploring means boarding a plane or taking a new route to work, the opportunities are all around us. I love being free to read any book that peaks my interest, pick up any item at the grocery store, listen to music from around the world. I am also free to explore my inner world. What do I believe? What do I think? What do I feel? Most importantly: why do I believe, think, feel the way I do? Awareness of what goes on in my body, mind and spirit reminds me to truly be present now. It also affords me the chance to assess whether I need to adjust my thought process or my behavior in order to live in alignement with my values and my goals. Do I live on autopilot, or do I live purposefully? I am grateful for the freedom to explore my inner and outer experiences – it is fertile soil to create a vibrant life.

Bonjour !
