When discussing a tangible object with someone, one of the first questions I ask is often: “What color is it?” Color conveys such an important element of our physical world. The color of our clothes, the color of our walls, the color of our cars – they all express who we are to the world, how we wish to be perceived. They influence how we feel, how we view other people, even how we behave. A pale, watery green bathroom greets you softly when you first emerge into the world in the morning. How different does it feel to visit a kitchen full of varying tones of warm yellows and oranges? The intense explosion of a fiery sunset over the ocean leaves me speechless with awe, and I am grateful for this rich ingredient of my life.
